Tanzania Coffee
Tanzania Arabica
‘‘Tanzanian coffee is the golden smile of Tanzanians.’’
It is a quality coffee bean grown at an altitude of 1700 and 1900 metres in the volcanic foothills of the Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Mbeya and Kigoma regions, representing a wide range of flavours such as spice and chocolate flavours as well as mainly fruity flavours.
Kilimanjaro arabica coffee is a more well-known bean than in other Tanzanian regions and is neighbouring Kenyan arabica farms, which have a high brand name recognition rate in the world. These two beans are grown on the two sides of Mount Kilimanjaro. Although the growing conditions and characteristics are similar, the Kilimanjaro arabica is unfortunately not as well known in the world as it deserves. This is because of the complex and variable nature of the coffee bean procurement process in Tanzania.
Whereas; “Tanzanian coffee is the golden smile of Tanzanians.”
Gold is bright in itself, but it requires strong organisational skills, accurate and effective communication in order for its light to reach far and find its own value. Our company works in co-operation with all its components to ensure that this quality coffee takes its respected place in the world and increases its visibility. To the extent that successful these efforts are, the local farmers and all the components of the coffee supply chain will shine happier in this light.
Tanzanian Arabica coffee, is a quality coffee that heralds its own future with unique character that distinguishes it from its counterparts in the world.
We believe this future and as Ghala Crop Africa strongly supports the hope of being part of this golden future.
Tanzania Robusta Coffee
Tanzanian robusta coffee is grown at 900 to 1300 meters altitude in Bukoba and Karagwe regions on the shores of Lake Victoria and above.
With the advantage of growing at high altitude, it even catches the score values of some arabica coffees. With this feature, it is a distinguished and unique bean that stands out among its qualified counterparts in the world.
